The Collegiate Conundrum

Ramblings of a College Man

Meet the Author

Hi everyone. My name is Christian Wirtz, Wabash College Class of 2019. I was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. This is my blog that I started in August 2015 when I was about to start school and a new step in my life.

My life has been an adventure and I don’t pretend to know where my life is going. But this blog is an outlet for my thoughts. I’m a sophomore who is just trying to find his way in life right now (how many times can I use the word “life?”). I’m a Rhetoric major with aspirations of a career in broadcasting, but I’m still experiencing Liberal Arts as they were meant to be experienced. I enjoy reading and writing and I am interested in history.

Other than that, I’m an ex-soccer player (midfielder specifically) so I do quite a bit of running (when I’m not injured). I work in Wabash’s Sports Information Department; I love that job. I am an Independent at a primarily Greek school, which may become a topic of conversation later on. I also listen to music, primarily classic rock (60’s and 70’s mostly), which is why I almost always conclude my posts with lyrics or a songwriter’s quote.

Life has been an adventure and it will continue to be. This is where I will share my experiences and my Conundrums.

“I may not believe in myself, but I believe in what I’m doing.”
